One of the best selling scooters in the 110cc segment, TVS Jupiter, has received the BS6 update. The BS6 Jupiter comes with a 109.7cc, fuel-injected engine that produces 7.47hp of power and 8.4Nm torque. It gets Eco Thrust Fuel Injection technology (ETFi) that helps in giving 15 percent more fuel efficiency and better engine performance. Braking duties on Jupiter are handled by 130mm drum brakes with SBT. In terms of features, the scooters gets USB charger and LED headlamp standard. The BS6 Jupiter is available in three variants – Standard, ZX, and Classic. The Jupiter price starts from Rs 61,449 for the base variant and goes up to Rs 67,911 for the Classic version.

TVS Jupiter Braking and Safety

Jupiter comes with 130mm drum brakes at both ends that do a fine job of slowing down and bringing the scooter down to a stop under a variety of riding conditions. Also, tubeless tyres on 12-inch wheels offer good stability and do not deflate instantly in case of a puncture.

TVS Jupiter comes with a 5-litre fuel tank capacity and claims a mileage of 55kmpl. With a full tank, one can expect a range of around 275km.
