TVS Apache RTR 200 Fi E100
India’s first motorcycle that can run on the ethanol-based fuel, TVS Apache RTR 200 Fi E100, is available at a price of Rs 1.20 lakh, ex-showroom. The E100 is powered by a single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that uses a twin-spray twin-port EFI technology that enhances the throttle response and fuel-efficiency. It delivers 20.7hp at 8500rpm and 18.1Nm at 7000rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. The Apache RTR 200 Fi E100 can be run on ethanol-based fuel. If ethanol is scarce to find, they have to use at least 20 per cent petrol.

There is a 270mm disc brake at the front and 240mm disc brake at rear with dual-channel ABS. The bike also has LED DRLs for better on roads.

TVS Apache RTR 200 Fi E100 Mileage
The Apache RTR Fi E100 comes with a 12-litre fuel tank and it is expected that the ethanol-based motorcycle will give better fuel-efficiency than the petrol version. However, TVS has not revealed the mileage of the ethanol-based motorcycle.
