Kawasaki India has updated its most powerful adventure tourer, Versys 1000 to meet the BS6 emission norms. In its BS6 form it continues to be powered by a 1043cc engine that delivers 118hp and 102Nm. The unit is mated to a 6-speed transmission. It gets features such as twin LED headlamps, digital LCD screen, traction control, cruise control, assist, and slipper clutch. The BS6 Kawasaki Versys 1000 is sold at a price of Rs 10.99 lakh,ex-showroom.

    Kawasaki Versys 1000 comes equipped with dual semi-floating 310mm petal discs at the front and 250mm petal disc at the rear with a single-piston caliper. It also gets twin LED headlamps for better illumination at night, KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System), and traction control.
