Dharmasthala case: Partial human remains recovered, first evidence in mass burial probe
Partial skeletal remains of a male have been discovered near the Nethravathi River in Karnataka's Dharmasthala, marking the first confirmed recovery since the mass burial investigation began on July 29 by the SIT. The investigation was launched after a whistleblower reported the burial of over 100 bodies, including women and minors who may have been sexually assaulted.
