May 2025 Auto sales live: Odyssey Electric Vehicles record 43% growth
Mumbai-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Odysse has recorded a 42.9% YoY growth. The company dispatched 223 units of electric two-wheelers, compared to 156 units in May 2024.
The most recent launch by Odysse is the HyFy electric scooter. Priced at Rs 42,000 (ex-showroom), the HyFy is a low-speed electric scooter that was launched in May. It comes with two battery options: 48V or 60V that supply energy to a 250W electric motor. With a top speed of 25 kmph, it adheres to low-speed electric vehicle regulations, making it ideal for short-distance urban travel.

Electric vehicle sales also saw growth, with the MG Windsor leading sales in the four-wheeler EV space. MG has also used this opportunity to launch the Windsor with bigger battery packs called the Windsor Pro. That said, in the two-wheeler space, it was the TVS iQube, showing the startups how its done.

April 2025 two-wheeler sales: A quick glance
Honda led sale in the two-wheeler category, followed by TVS and Hero MotoCorp in third. Apart from TVS and Suzuki, the top five selling two-wheeler brands saw a decline in sales. That said, the two-wheeler industry collectively saw a decline in April.

Tata Motors was in third, followed by Hyundai in fourth and Toyota in fifth. Tata and Hyundai saw a sales decline of 5.6% and 11.6% respectively, while Toyota saw a growth of 32.8%.
