Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift

The new 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift gets a reworked grille along with a new bumper in order to give a fresher look. The bonnet has also been tweaked a bit in order to give more character than before. The overall silhouette of the car remains the same essentially but overall, the new C-Class looks a lot premium than its predecessor. While the Prime and AMG variants get projector headlamps, the C220d gets full LED headlamps.

The central console and the dashboard of the new 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift have been revised and these look a lot better than the previous model. The car now gets a new 1.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system ditching the 7-inch unit from the outgoing model. The new C-Class can be opted with a choice of two interior themes with a dual black theme and a tan colour theme. The interiors also get features like sunroof and power adjustable seats.

Powering the C 220d variant of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift is a 2.0-litre four cylinder engine that is good for churning out respective power and torque output of 194 bhp and 400 Nm. On the other hand, the top end C 300d AMG makes out a maximum power output of 245 bhp along with a peak torque of 500 Nm.

The engine options on the new 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift come mated to a 9-speed G-Tronic gearbox. The gearshifts are smooth and precise just what you would expect from a car that comes at this price point.

The new 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift gets full LED headlamps that offer better illumination than the conventional units. The car gets disc brakes all around that deliver a decent stopping power. Safety features like ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), with EBD and airbags come standard on the new C-Class facelift.

The 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift returns a fuel efficiency of close to 13 kmpl which is quite decent considering a car of this segment.
