Yamaha R15 V4
Yamaha R15 is one of the most popular entry-level sports motorcycles in India. The R15 is currently in its fourth-generation avatar in India. Yamaha R15 V4 was launched in India in September 2021 and it rivals the likes of the KTM RC 125, Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, etc. The new Yamaha R15 V4 gets a powerful 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that develops 18.1hp of power and 14.2Nm of torque. Its engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. This fully-faired motorcycle gets a host of segment-first features, which include a traction control system, quick-shifter for clutchless up-shifts, and more. The Yamaha R15 V4 features an all-digital instrument cluster, inspired by the mighty Yamaha R1, that shows a ton of information. It even gets Bluetooth connectivity and two modes – Track and Street. The Yamaha R15, for the first time in India, now even gets USD front forks while at the rear, the R15 V4 features a mono-shock absorber.Â

Yamaha R15 V4 Braking and Safety
For braking duties, the new Yamaha R15 V4 gets disc brakes on either end. At the front, it gets a large 282 mm disc brake while at the rear, the bike gets a 220 mm disc unit. The Yamaha R15 V4 offers good braking performance and the bike comes to a halt in just no time. Moreover, the R15 V4 is also equipped with a standard dual-channel anti-lock braking system as an additional safety aid that further aids in its braking capabilities.

Yamaha R15 V4 Mileage
The Yamaha R15 V4 gets an 11-litre fuel tank which is the same as its predecessor. Also, while the official mileage figures of the R15 V4 has not been yet revealed by the company, one can expect it to be as fuel-efficient as the R15 V3 as both the motorcycles have the same engine. The Yamaha R15 V4 might deliver around 40-48 kmpl of mileage, depending on the riding style and other factors.
