Tata Safari Stealth Edition launched — Limited to 2700 units

Tata Motors has launched the Stealth Edition of the Safari, celebrating 27 years of the Safari brand in India. The new Tata Safari Stealth Edition gets monotone finishes and is limited to just 2,700 units. The Tata Safari Stealth Edition is priced at Rs 25.74 lakh, ex-showroom and is available in six and seven-seater versions. Here are more details.

Tata Safari Stealth Edition — What’s unique?

The Tata Safari Stealth Edition comes finished in a matte black paint scheme, giving it a unique presence. Limited to just 2,700 units, the Safari Stealth Edition was launched alongside the Harrier Stealth Edition, which is also limited to 2,700 units. With the launch of the Safari Stealth Edition, Tata is looking at making the vehicle a collector’s item than just a regular SUV.

The Tata Safari Stealth Edition is powered by the same diesel engine that does its duty in the Harrier also — a 2.0-litre diesel engine mated to a manual gearbox or a torque converter automatic. There are no mechanical changes.
