After a long time, Revolt Motors has launched a new product in India. The company earned the designation of launching the country’s first electric motorcycle in the form of RV300. The company later launched the RV400 and its sub-variant– the RV400 BRZ. Revolt has now launched a new commuter electric motorcycle in the country named RV1.
A subsidiary of the Rattan Group, Revolt is offering two variants of its latest model— RV1 and RV1 Plus, priced at Rs 84,990 and Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom), respectively. Both variants are available in four colour options each Bookings for the new Revolt RV1 has commenced at a token amount of Rs 499
Revolt RV1, RV1 Plus: Specs
The base variant of Revolt RV1 gets a 2.2 kWh battery pack that offers up to 100 km range, and a 3.24 kWh battery extending the range to 160 km. Both removable battery options are IP67-rated for water resistance and more importantly, both variants are powered by the same 2.8 kW electric motor that drives the rear wheel via a chain drive.
Both variants can clock a top speed of 75 kmph. The smaller battery can be charged from 0-80% in 2 hrs 15 min, while the 3.24 kWh version takes 3 hrs 30 mins. With the fast-charging technology, the RV1+ can get fully charged in just 1.5 hours.
Revolt RV1, RV1 Plus: Features
Although being an entry-level model, the RV1 is decently kitted with features such as multiple speed modes, a 6-inch digital LCD display, LED headlights and taillights, a reverse mode, built-in charger storage, etc. Revolt claims to offer the longest seat in the electric motorcycle space. Another significant feather on its hat is a payload of 250 kg which would come in handy in the B2B space.
