The battle between traditional two-wheeler giants is heating up in the electric vehicle market. TVS Motor and Bajaj Chetak rank as the second and third top EV manufacturers, respectively. Bajaj’s latest release, the Chetak Blue 3202, is a mid-range model poised to compete with TVS’s iQube 3.4 kWh version. Let’s compare these two electric scooters.

Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 vs TVS iQube: Specifications

The Chetak Blue 3202 is powered by the 5.3 bhp 3.2 kWh battery pack with 16 Nm of torque, which is also available in the Premium variant. According to Bajaj Auto, the EV scooter offers a range of 137 km on a single charge and has a top speed of 63 kmph. It takes 5 hours and 50 minutes to fully charge the battery. There is an additional Techpac available for Rs 5,000, which increases the top speed to 73 kmph

The iQube has a 3.4 kWh battery with 5.9 bhp, 33 Nm of torque and a top speed of 78 kmph. According to TVS, it returns a 100 km riding range in real-world conditions. The iQube does 0 – 40 kmph in 4.2 seconds.

The standard Chetak Blue 3202 comes with one ride mode — Eco. The Techpac offers two ride modes — Eco and Sports along with Hill Hold and Reverse mode. It has a digital console, 12-inch alloy wheels, front disc brake and rear drum, a USB charging port and connected technology. It is available in four colours – Brooklyn Black, Cyber White, Indigo Metallic, and Matte Coarse Grey. 

The iQube has plenty of features like reverse park assist, 220 mm front disc brake and 130 mm rear drum, USB port and connectivity features. It also gets turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call alerts, distance to empty and telematics functions including geo fencing, anti-theft alert, live location updates and crash and fall alerts. It is available in three colour options — Shining Red, Pearl White and Titanium Grey Glossy.

Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 vs TVS iQube: Price

The Chetak Blue 3202 is priced at Rs 1.15 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi, undercutting the TVS iQube by over Rs 21,000. One has to keep in mind that even though the TVS EV costs Rs 1.36 lakh, it is more powerful and is equipped with a lot of features that come standard.
