After the success of the first edition of the Bharat Mobility Event, the ministry of commerce and industry decided and announced that next year all automotive events in the country will emerge with Bharat Mobility Expo. In 2025, this annual event will be held from 17- 22 January at three different venues of Delhi i.e. Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan), Yashobhoomi (India International Convention and Expo Centre, Dwarka) and India Expo Mart (Greater Noida), simultaneously.
Previously, the automotive industry saw the biennial Auto Expo and Auto Component Show being executed in different locations in Delhi NCR. The Auto Expo, for a while, has been losing its spark with the number of automakers slowly ditching the event. Hence that’s the reason why the Government decided to replace it with the Bharat Mobility Expo.
Notably, the event will cover wide sectors including commercial and passenger vehicles to electric vehicles, auto components, tires, battery and storage components, software integration, and even construction equipment.
Bharat Mobility Global Expo will be joined by prominent personalities from various automotive industries with active participation from industry associations such as Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) India, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM),Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), and Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM)and many more making it a valuable event for automotive enthusiasts.
Vipul Bansal, joint secretary with the Department of Commerce, said “Bharat Mobility will now act as an umbrella brand under which individual shows of various industry associations would be undertaken. While overall branding will be Bharat Mobility for the entire mobility value chain, each part of that value chain will retain its branding during the period at three locations.”
