The Tata Safari Storme is one of the India’s indigenous and best-selling SUV. It has gone through a lot of updates and tweaks including engine and power output.     Tata Safari Storme

    The Tata Safari Storme gives the hint of Land Rover’s involvement in its design with its dynamic and bold angles. The new redesigned bonnet comes with a slope line with a new grille with the Tata logo and chrome stripe at front end of bonnet with STORM engraved on it. The wheel arches have gone bolder with side door mouldings. The rear is completely re-designed with the removal of the spare tyre which has been tucked under the cabin. The new Black rear door moulding which has the car name and trim is also underlined by a chrome strip which has TATA engraved on it. The exhaust is chrome plated and body colour split bumper gives the SUV a sporty feel.

    The Tata Safari carries sophistication in its interior colour scheme with dual tone beige and wooden with deco finisher finish on the dashboard, centre console and door panels give a vibrant look to the interior. The Safari comes with a power steering with all power windows. It also comes with a drive selector knob in the VX trim for 4H, 4L and 2L drive settings. It comes with a heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit (HVAC) which is highly effective and also has rear roof mounted AC. The side view can be electrically adjusted from inside the cabin and it also comes with keyless entry and an electrically remotely operated fuel cap.

    The Tata Safari Storme comes with a 2,179 cc Direct Injection Common Rail diesel engine with a Variable Turbine Technology (VVT) that generates 154 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is operated by a 32 bit ECU and a fuel efficient DOHC. It also has a different state of tune for the diesel engine that produces 400 Nm of torque while power remains the same.
