The Maruti Suzuki Omni is the smallest people mover from the Indian carmaker. It is powered by a 796 cc 3 cylinder petrol engine that generates 34.2 hp power at 5,000 rpm and 59 Nm torque at 2,500 rpm. It is one of the oldest Maruti cars in the country and has sold 15.7 million units making it one of the highest selling cars in India. This people mover can accomodate six adults with ease and the rear sliding doors and the high ground clearance of 165 mm makes getting in and out of the vehicle easy, even for tall passengers. A short turning radius of 4.1 metre helps the Omni tackle crowded city roads with ease. Braking is courtesy discs assisted with boosters up front and drum units at the rear
