Mahindra NuvoSport
A compact SUV offered by Mahindra is the NuvoSport that is powered by the 1.5 litre mHawk diesel engine. This engine has options of a 5 speed manual and AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) gearbox. The NuvoSport measures 3,985 mm in length thereby available excise benefits in the sub 4 metre category. It comes in six variants, N4 N4+, N6, N6 AMT, N8 and N8 AMT. In terms of safety, the NuvoSport comes with a collapsible steering column, side intrusion beams, digital immobiliser and auto door lock as standard while the higher variants also get ABS (Anti lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), front dual airbags and seat belt reminder, reverse parking sensors with a rear camera and more.

Mahindra NuvoSport Exterior
The Mahindra NuvoSport has a trendy exterior and the higher variants come with body coloured bumpers, door handles and ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) on the higher variants. It is equipped with 16 inch alloys for the higher variants with 215 section tyres and has a turning radius of 5.5 metres. It measures 3,985 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, 1,870 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,760 mm.

Inside the Mahindra NuvoSport, the compact SUV boasts of a two tone grey colour scheme for an elegant appeal. The dashboard houses a 6.2 inch infotainment system that supports USB, AUX and Bluetooth playback along with steering mounted audio and phone controls. The higher variants also come with leatherette upholstery instead of fabric, aluminium pedals and scuff plates. The Mahindra NuvoSport has the best in segment boot volume of 415 litres and also has height adjustable driver’s seat, electrically adjustable ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors) and driver/co driver adjustable armrest with lumbar support.

Mahindra NuvoSport Engine
The Mahindra NuvoSport is powered by a 1,493 cc mHawk diesel engine that generates 100 hp of power at 3,750 rpm and 240 Nm of torque from 1,600 rpm to 2,800 rpm. Although the engine has been tuned for the best balance between performance and fuel efficiency, the NuvoSport is not offered with a petrol engine option. The diesel engine has a two stage turbocharger and is BS4 complaint making it available across all locations in India.
