The new Mahindra Alturas G4 is the company's flagship offering for the Indian market. The seven seater SUV is based on the Ssangyong G4 Rexton but gets Mahindra badging. First showcased at the Auto Expo 2018, the Alturas G4 is the second big launch of the year by the company after Marazzo. The new Alturas G4 gets power from a 2.2-litre diesel engine that is good for shedding out 185 horses. The interiors are premium and the SUV gets some interesting features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ambient mood lighting, electronic stability program, traction control and more. Mahindra Alturas G4 prices in India start at Rs 26.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the SUV competes with the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Isuzu MU-X in the premium SUV territory.

Powering the Mahindra Alturas G4 is a 2.2-litre diesel engine that is good for churning out a maximum power output of 185 bhp while the peak torque output is rated at 420 Nm. The SUV comes in two wheel drive and four wheel drive options.

Launched in two variants, the Mahindra Alturas G4 gets two airbags for the base variant while the top trim has nine airbags.
