Suzuki Gixxer
Suzuki Motorcycles India has updated one of the most selling motorcycles in its line-up, Gixxer 150 with BS6 emission norms. The BS6 Gixxer 150 was unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo and hasn’t received any changes in dimensions and design. It comes with the same 155cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine but with a slight decrease in power and torque figures. The BS6 compliant motor generates 13.4hp and 13.8Nm mated to a 5-speed transmission. It comes equipped with disc brakes at both the ends with single-channel ABS and rides on 17-inch wheels. With this BS6 update, there has been an increase of 1kg weight too and has a kerb weight of 141kg. The BS6 Gixxer 150 comes with a price tag of Rs 1,11,900, ex-showroom.

Suzuki Gixxer Braking and Safety
Braking duties on the Suzuki Gixxer are taken care of with the help of disc brakes at both ends. For a more effective braking and added safety, an ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) is on offer as standard with the motorcycle. As for safety, the motorcycle gets an all LED headlamp to light up the roads much better than a regular halogen unit.

Suzuki Gixxer Mileage
Suzuki Motorcycle claims a mileage of 64 kmpl on the Gixxer under tested conditions. The motorcycle has been fitted with a 12-litre fuel tank and hence, you get a range of close to 700 km once you fill the tank up to its brim.
