Street Rod is one of the newest motorcycles from Harley Davidson for the year 2017. Based on the Street 750, the Street Rod uses the same Revolution X 750cc engine but tuned to deliver more power and torque for better performance. It is also gets better front and rear suspension with fatter upside-down forks and piggyback shockers respectively. Further changes over the Street 750 include shorter rake for quicker handling, dual disc brakes at front, bigger rear 17-inch wheel and drag handlebar with bar end mirrors. Overall, the Street Rod looks substantial with better road presence and premiumness worthy of being a Harley Davidson.

Harley Davidson Street Rod Braking and Safety

Possibly the most significant improvement in the Street Rod over the Street 750 are the brakes. The Street Rod comes with dual disc brakes at front while the rear has a single disc. Overall braking feel and feedback have been drastically improved and there’s much more confidence due to this while pushing the motorcycle at higher revs. ABS is standard as well which further increases the safety aspect on low grip surfaces.
