We are motorcycle racing again and the French MotoGP has promised a lot of action, as seen in the practice session and the Sprint race. The Ducatis look strong as Martin leads the overall standings this season so far, followed by both the Factory Ducati teams.
Today’s race looks like it will rain during the latter half of the race, as it is currently cloudy with mild winds. The teams are gearing up with wet tyres, giving the podium a strong contention. Here are all the updates from the French GP.

French MotoGP: It’s a Ducati 1-2-3 finish with Martin on the lead
The three dominating riders so far this season take the podium: Martin, Marquez, and Bagnaia.
And Jorge Martin wins the French GP, while Marquez takes second, just four corners away from the finish line, while defending champion Bagnaia settles for third! What a battle!
Marquez takes second!
With two laps to go, there are three Ducatis battling for first.
With 5 laps remaining, the battle for 1st is still on between Martin, Bagnaia, and Marquez. Can the Spaniard pull it off?
The battle for first is intense between the Martin, Bangnaia, and Marquez!
And Martin steals the lead from Bagnaia and this time, the defending champion can do nothing.
Martin makes his move to take the lead, but Bagnaia takes it back immediately.
Marquez makes his move and moves up to third, followed by Vinales in fourth.
Fabio Quartararo crashes out, followed by KTM’s Jack Miller.
Joan Mir crashes out and is now out of the race.
Marquez makes the move and moves ahead of Vinales, despite the Aprilia rider trying to close the door on him.
Bastianini gets a long lap penalty and is now in the 9th place.
Marquez moves up a place, back on Vinales’ tail after briefly letting go of the Aprilia rider. The gap between the two riders is 0.297 seconds.
Aprilia’s Vinales moves up a position to fourth, managing to get away from Marquez.
With 19 laps to go, the battle is intense for the first place between Bagnaia and Martin, as the current championship leader is not able to find the gap to pass the current world champion.
With 23 laps to go, there have been two crashes: Acosta and Bezzecchi. That said, Bagnaia leads the race with Martin hot on his tail in second and Espargaro in third.

It’s 25 laps to go in the French GP and Acosta makes his first mistake on lap 2 and crashes!
And lights out and the two Ducati factory riders storm ahead, but Martin takes second, right behind Bagnaia.
The formation lap is underway and today’s conditions are much cooler than yesterday. Rookie Gas Gas rider Acosta was fastest earlier today and he’s a man to watch out for as he is currently 4th in the overall standings.
The race will begin in a few minutes, as the riders are on the grid already for the formation lap.
Current race leader Jorge Martin will start in pole position, which is 25th in his career. His total points so far is at 104, followed by Lenovo Ducati’s Bastianini and Bagnaia.
The Sprint race last evening saw Parmac’s Jorge Martin take the win, followed by Marc Marquez, while the current race leader also set a new lap record.
We are back with another race weekend and this time in France, in an iconic track, Le Mans. The day could see some rain later on in the race.
