Tata Motors has revamped its Nexon EV lineup, by giving the all-electric SUV more range, faster charging, and offering it in an all-black Dark Edition. The Nexon EV now comes with a 45kWh battery pack, spread across three variants, priced at Rs 13.99 lakh onwards, ex-showroom.

Tata Nexon EV 45kWh battery pack
The new 45kWh battery pack on the Nexon EV is available with the Creative, Fearless, Empowered, Empowered+, and Dark Edition variants. Tata claims a range of 489km with a full charge on the 45kWh battery pack, which can charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in 40 minutes using a 60kW charger.
The Nexon EV also gets V2V and V2L charging options, which allows the vehicle to charge other appliances using its battery pack. The Nexon EV will also be sold with the 30kWh and 40kWh battery packs.
Updated Tata Nexon EV features
On the features front, the Nexon EV was already fully loaded, and the electric SUV gets a panoramic sunroof, a frunk in the front, a 12.3-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, wireless charging, digital instrument console, 9-speaker JBL system, ventilated front seats, and cruise control.
Safety features continue to be a highlight with six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, traction control, stability control, electronic parking brake, parking sensors, 360-degree camera, and more.
