The 2025 Bajaj Chetak is built on a new frame, with its 3.5 kWh battery now placed beneath the floorboard. It delivers a power output of 5.3 bhp and a top speed of 73 kmph. Bajaj claims the Chetak offers a range of 153 km on a full charge, and with its new 950W onboard quick charger, it can juice up from 0-80 per cent in just three hours. The standard version features an Eco ride mode, while the TecPac variant adds a Sports mode for a boost in performance.

In comparison, the Ather Rizta comes in two battery pack options — 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh. It produces 5.7 bhp and has a top speed of 80 kmph. The 2.9 kWh model offers a range of 123 km, while the 3.7 kWh version provides up to 160 km of range. The 2.9 kWh variant takes 6 hours and 30 minutes to charge from 0-80 per cent, while the 3.7 kWh version takes 4.3 hours to charge to the same level.

With spacious 35-litre under-seat storage and a 5-litre glovebox, it’s a practical offering.

The Ather Rizta Z trim, meanwhile, brings many of the premium features found in the 450X, including a 7-inch TFT display with navigation via Google Maps, a fall-safe function, skid control, hill hold, and two ride modes. It also offers full LED lighting and 34 litres of under-seat storage, along with an additional 22 litres of frunk space for extra convenience.
