SUVs continue to see an uptick in sales during October 2023 and all the SUVs sold during the month have seen a positive YoY growth, while some new models have managed to make it to the list of top 10 selling SUVs. Last month saw the Tata Nexon lead sales, followed by the Brezza, while the Punch settles for third in the list.
The Mahindra Scorpio takes fourth place with 13,578 unit sales in October, posting an 83 percent growth, beating the Hyundai Creta to fourth place. Hyundai’s best-selling vehicle, the Creta, saw a growth of 10 percent last month.
Moving on, the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Venue, and the Maruti Suzuki Fronx make up the top eight spots, having sold 12,362 units, 11,581 units, and 11,357 units respectively. Amongst the three, the Fronx is the newest entrant as the vehicle was launched earlier this year.
Finishing up the top 10 selling SUVs list in October 2023 are the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and the Mahindra Bolero, which saw sales of 10,834 units and 9,647 units respectively. Both vehicles also posted a YoY growth of 35 percent and 10 percent respectively in October 2023 compared to October 2022.
