As we roll into the last month of 2023, vehicle sales figures are out for November 2023 and the trend clearly shows SUVs gaining popularity. The list of top 20 best-selling vehicles has 12 SUVs on the list, with the Tata Nexon leading sales, albeit with a drop in YoY growth.
The Tata Punch follows the Nexon in second, having sold 14,383 units in November and gaining a 19 percent YoY growth over last year. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza completes the top 3 list, with 13,393 units being sold and witnessing an 18 percent YoY growth.
The next three spots are taken by Mahindra, Hyundai, and Kia, with the latter two seeing close competition. Mahindra sold 12,185 units of the Scorpio last month, witnessing a strong 89 percent YoY growth, while Hyundai sold 11,814 units of the Creta and saw a YoY decline of 11 percent. Kia registered sales of 11,684 units of the Seltos.
The Hyundai Venue takes up the seventh place with 11,180 units of sales while witnessing 4 percent YoY growth. Following the Venue is the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, registering sales of 9,867 units, followed by the Mahindra Bolero and the Hyundai Exter, having sold 9,333 units and 8,325 units respectively.
