This decision comes a day after the company announced a similar price adjustment for its commercial vehicle segment. The first price hike was announced at the beginning of the calendar year, which saw passenger vehicle prices rise by up to 3%.

Kia cars to costlier from April 1, 2025

Kia India has also announced a price hike of up to 3% across its entire lineup, effective from April 1, 2025. The company cited rising commodity prices and supply chain costs as the primary reasons for the adjustment.

Hardeep Singh Brar, Sr. Vice President – Sales and Marketing, said, “While we understand that price adjustments can be challenging, this decision has been made to ensure we continue delivering high-quality, technologically advanced vehicles.” Kia also mentioned that it is absorbing a significant portion of the cost increase to minimize the impact on customers.
