Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma recently went viral when she made her maiden appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. A prominent in the Punjabi film industry, Sharma has also acted in a film named Sajjan Singh Rangroot, co-starring Diljit Dosanjh. Let us look at some of the cars in her garages.
Toyota Fortuner
Toyota Fortuner is more than just an SUV and considered a status symbol. The Fortuner is priced between Rs 33.43 lakh and Rs 51.44 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available with two engine options— a 2.7-litre petrol unit and a 2.8-litre diesel unit. The former is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox whereas the latter can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
Old Mahindra Jeep SUV
Sunanda possesses an old Mahindra Jeep which from the image looks like a soft-top Mahindra Classic or a Mahindra MM540, both off-roading giants in their real forms. There are no specific details regarding their specifications but all Mahindra vehicles previously were powered by diesel engines.
Mercedes Benz ML 250
Prior to the GL range of SUVs, Mercedes Benz used to offer the M range of SUVs. Sunanda owns an ML 250 CDI. The last recorded price of ML 250 was Rs 65.27 lakh (ex-showroom). It was powered by a 2143cc diesel engine which pushed out 203 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. Power was sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Ford Mustang GT
The most expensive car in Sunanda’s garage is a Ford Mustang GT. The Mustang GT was previously on sale in India as a fully-imported CBU model until Ford quit India in 2021. The black Mustang GT owned by Sunanda is powered by a 5.0-litre v8 turbocharged petrol engine. The last recorded price of Mustang GT in India was Rs 74.61 lakh (ex-showroom).
Toyota Innova
Sunanda also owns a first-gen Toyota Innova which cost her Rs 18 lakh. This model was powered by a 2494 cc diesel engine putting out 100.57 bhp and peak torque of 200 Nm. It was paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
