Citroen has finally revealed the entry price of the C3 Aircross which starts from Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The French automobile maker has also confirmed that the mid-size SUV will be available in three variants — You, Plus and Max. The You trim is a basic entry-level version of C3 Aircross which is only available as a 5-seater. The SUV lacks any smart features but there is no compromise in safety. The You variant comes packed with a slew of safety functions.

The mid-level Plus variant is available in 5 and 5+2 seater options. It is expected to be priced from Rs 11.30 lakh to Rs 11.45 lakh, ex-showroom. It retains all the You variant offers and introduces additional features and design elements.

Citroen C3 Aircross Max: Rs 11.95 – Rs 12.10 lakh (indicative price)
The top-of-line Max offers additional goodies like front fog lamps, leatherette door armrests, rear wiper and washer and more features. Apart from what’s mentioned above, the Max variant retains what Plus offers. Both these trims also come with an optional Vibe package that introduces a host of provisions. According to reports, the optional accessories pack could cost around Rs 25,000 extra and offer body side door moulding with painted inserts, roof rail embellisher, front grille embellisher in glossy black or painted options, tailgate embellisher with chrome finish, front fog lamps for Plus variant and body coloured outside rear view mirrors.

Citroen C3 Aircross You: Engine Specs
The C3 Aircross only comes with a single-engine option. It is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol with an output of 108bhp and 190Nm of torque. At the moment, India only gets the 6-speed manual transmission though for the international market a 6-speed torque converter automatic is available.

The C3 is the most affordable SUV in its segment as it starts from Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom. It will take on the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkwagen Taigun, Honda Elevate and MG Astor.
