Bentley has launched Flying Spur Hybrid in India at a whopping price tag of Rs 5.25 crore (ex-showroom). The ultra luxury sedan was previously available with V8 and W12 engines, and now the British marque has introduced a plug-in hybrid powertrain with its flagship sedan.
The sedan will be sold in India exclusively via Gurugram-based Exclusive Motors, the sole distributor of Bentley in the country. Like other Bentleys, the Flying Spur Hybrid comes with extensive customization options, including over 60 exterior colours, including special options like Mulliner and tailor-made finishes.

Similarly for its interiors, Bentley offers a wide range of customization options, including 15 shades of leather, and eight veneers for the dashboard. Customers can even choose the stitching and piping for seat upholstery in addition to lofted diamond quilted seats, emblems and 3D leather door panels.
Visual highlights on the exterior include a matrix grille with a dark tint treatment, circular LED headlights, crystal-like DRLs, 10-spoke 22-inch alloy wheels, and squared-out LED taillights. In terms of features, the Flying Spur Hybrid comes equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 21-channel sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and multi-color ambient lighting, to name a few.
Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid: Powertrain
Powering the new Flying Spur Hybrid is a 2.9-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with an 18 kWh battery . The engine itself is capable of producing a peak output of 410 bhp at 5500- 6500 rpm and 550 Nm at 2000-5000 rpm. In combination with the electric motor, this plug-in hybrid powertrain develops a total output of 536 bhp and 750 Nm of torque.
As for performance, the Flying Spur Hybrid is capable of 0-100 kmph in a claimed 4.3 seconds and can notch a top speed of 285 kmph. It also boasts of being the most fuel efficient Bentley till date with an estimated range of 800 km.
