The Hyundai Creta facelift has been a hot topic for a while now and finally, the updated mid-size SUV has been spotted testing. Scheduled to launch early next year, the Hyundai Creta facelift gets visual as well as mechanical updates, while also getting ADAS.

The new Kia Seltos was launched a few months ago with an updated design, engine configuration, and safety tech, which will also be seen on the upcoming Creta. Here’s what to expect from the 2024 Hyundai Creta.

The upcoming Hyundai Creta is expected to get a major design update and although the vehicle is under heavy wraps, we can make out the new LED headlight setup, along with the new tail lamps and sequential turn signals.

The other big update is the front grille, which is inspired by the new Hyundai Santa Fe, which gets a boxy design while looking premium. Subtle changes on other parts are also expected and more will be known in due course of time.

The interior of the new Creta is expected to get a refresh as well, along with the steering wheel, infotainment system, and other features. The Creta has always been feature-rich and with the updated model, expect Hyundai to retain features such as ventilated seats, wireless charging, and more.

The biggest update in terms of features will be in the safety department, with the inclusion of ADAS tech, similar to the new Kia Seltos. Other safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, 360-degree camera, stability control, etc will be carried forward.

2024 Hyundai Creta: Engine specifications

The 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift will get the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that currently powers the Kia Seltos, Kia Carens, and the Hyundai Alcazar. The engine makes 158bhp and 253Nm of torque with the help of a manual or a DCT gearbox.

Hyundai is also expected to retain the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that 113bhp, along with the 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine that also makes 113bhp. These engines will again have a choice of manual and automatic gearbox options.

2024 Hyundai Creta: Competitors

The Hyundai Creta competes with the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq in the Indian market and is the best-seller in the segment. When the updated Creta is launched next year, expect it to be the top seller as well.
