Auto Expo India 2018: New Honda Amaze 2018 was unveiled at Delhi Auto Expo 2018. Auto Expo India began this morning. This will be made public from February 9. This is indeed some big news coming in from Honda Cars India from the Auto Expo 2018 as the Honda Amaze has been a successful model for the company. Talking at the Auto Expo 2018, Takahiro Hachigo confirmed that new 2018 Honda Amaze will make its market debut in India during Financial Year 2018-19.The new Honda Amaze 2018 is now bold and aggressive looking and gets very modern interiors too. Honda Amaze is based on the Honda Brio hatch and the new generation now looks bolder, modern and very aggressive.

In 2018, Honda Cars has also confirmed the launch of its new Honda Civic and Honda CR-V SUV. Along with these Honda Cars will also launch three more new cars/SUVs in India by 2020 taking the total count to six all new products by the end of the decade.
Yoichiro Ueno, president and CEO Honda cars India said, “HCIL has shown robust sales growth of 15% in CY17 and 17% in the year 17-18 so far. With the upcoming new launches, we are confident to grow further in the new fiscal. While the all new Amaze will strengthen Honda’s presence in mass market, the all-new CR-V with its diesel introduction and comeback of Civic will help us fortify our presence in upper segments.”
Honda Amaze was first launched in India in 2013 and was due to a major upgrade to rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Hyundai Xcent. Honda Amaze has played a crucial role in the growth of sub-4-meter compact sedan space that now has many cars including Ford Figo Aspire, Tata Tigor and the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire. Honda Amaze was also the first Honda car to get a diesel engine in India and it was high time the new generation Amaze came out. Honda Amaze recorded a sales of over 2.50 lakh cars since its launch in 2013.
2018 Honda Amaze is built on an all-new platform and boasts a new design language for Honda Cars. The all-new Honda Amaze has been developed by Honda R&D Asia Pacific in Bangkok, Thailand and when launched will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options with petrol variants also getting the optional CVT gearbox too. The all-new Honda Amaze gets a new front grille that matches to give it a unique Honda identity. It remains to be a sub-4-meter car and for the first time, its gets an aerodynamic look which makes the Amaze look sleek. It gets a larger bonnet and is equipped with many new safety features.
