FPIs buy financials, capital goods in May
Foreign portfolio investors showed a strong preference for financials and capital goods stocks in the first half of May, with inflows of Rs 4,728 crore and Rs 2,233 crore respectively. The Nifty and Sensex also saw gains of nearly 2%. However, the FMCG sector saw an outflow of Rs 1,057 crore. Experts suggest that the market is bouncing back, and investors should be selective in their choices.
