ICRA cuts India’s FY26 air passenger growth to lowest since Covid
ICRA has lowered its projection for airport passenger traffic growth in FY26 to 5-7% YoY, citing cross-border tension and lower aircraft availability after the Air India crash. The rating agency has also revised its estimates for airport passenger traffic from 7-9% to 43-44 crore. International travel is expected to drive moderate growth, while air cargo volume growth is likely to slow to 4%.
