The 2020 Mahindra Scorpio has no major updates over the BS4 model and continues with a chrome-inserted grille, projector headlamps with static bending technology, fog lamps, and LED tail lamps. It measures 4456mm in length, 1820mm in width, 1995mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2680mm.
Inside the cabin, the SUV gets a dual-tone black and grey dashboard, leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 7-inch touch screen infotainment system, GPS, and a reverse parking camera. Also, it comes with driver armrest, audio & cruise control on the steering wheel and leather seat upholstery.
The BS6 Mahindra Scorpio now comes with one engine option – 2.2-litre, mHawk diesel engine which produces 140hp of power and 320Nm of torque.
The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The BS6 doesn’t get an option of automatic transmission.
In terms of safety, it comes with ABS, dual-airbags, seat belt reminders, and auto door lock while driving as standard features. In addition, the higher variants get more features such as anti-theft warning, fog lamps, and speed alerts.
The SUV has a 60-litre fuel tank. However, the company hasn’t revealed the rated fuel-efficiency of the BS6 Mahindra Scorpio.
