Renault Pulse
The Renault Pulse is a hatchback offered in the Indian market by the French carmaker. The car comes in three variants, RXL, RXL ABS and RXZ. The Renault Pulse comes with a 1,198 cc petrol engine which is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission and a 1,461 cc diesel engine that is also paired to a 5 speed manual transmission. In terms of safety, it comes with ventilated discs upfront with drum brakes at the rear, Anti lock braking system (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), driver and passenger side and front impact beams, speed sensing automatic door locks, hazard warning switch and dual front airbags. Key features include all power windows, power steering, audio system with USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity. The Renault Scala is offered in six colour options, Metallic Silver, Pearl White, Solid Black, Metallic Grey, Cosmos Blue and Metallic Red.

Renault Pulse Exterior
The Renault Pulse is a hatchback that measures 3,805 mm in length, 1,665 mm in width, 1,525 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,450 mm. The minumum turning radius of the hatchback is 4.65 metres and higher variants of the Renault Pulse are offered with alloy wheels. Suspension system on the hatchback is a McPherson Strut upfront and a torsion beam at the rear. The fuel tank capacity on the Renault Pulse is 41 litres.

Renault Pulse Interior
The Renault Pulse comes with dual-tone colour scheme and is offered with a power steering as well as manual controls for air conditioning on all variants. In addition, all versions also have internally adjustable ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirror), adjustable rear headrests, gear shift indicator, cup holders and front power windows. The higher variants also have rear power windows, tachometer, vanity mirror for the passenger and a rear parcel shelf.

Renault Pulse Engine
The Renault Pulse comes with a 1,198 cc petrol engine which produces 75 hp of power at 5,000 rpm along with 104 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The diesel engine which is a 1,481 cc unit generates 63 hp of power at 4,000 rpm and 160 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm.

Renault Pulse Transmission
Transmission duty for both, petrol and diesel, engine is done by a 5 speed manual gearbox. There is no option of an automatic transmission. However, both transmissions along with the engines have been tuned for the best balance between performance and fuel efficiency.
