Renault Lodgy
The Renault Lodgy is an MPV offered by the French carmaker with a diesel engine option in two states of tune. This engine is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission and there is no automatic gearbox option available in the lineup. The Renault Lodgy is offered in four variants, Std, RxE, RxL as well as the RxZ trims. While the lower state of tune engine is available in all versions, the higher state of tune is available only in the RxL and RxZ trims. The Renault Lodgy is offered in six colour options, Fiery Red, Royal Orchid, Pearl White, Moonlight Silver, Planet Grey and Slate Grey.

Renault Lodgy Exterior
The Renault Lodgy is offered with body coloured bumpers, black radiator grille,side steps with integrated mud flaps and rear wiper with washer on the higher variants. The top versions also get alloy wheels, body coloured ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors), side body graphics with decals, chrome highlights at the front as well as rear and blackened out B and C pillars. All trims of the Renault Lodgy have a disc brake setup upfront and drum brakes at the rear. Minimum turning radius of the Renault Lodgy is 5.5 metres and the MPV has 185/65 section tyres with 15 inch alloy wheels/steel rims.

Inside the Renault Lodgy, the MPV gets different seating configuration to suit the buyer’s need for 6 seater and 7 seater configurations. It has a dual tone interior colour theme for the door panels, dashboard, centre console and seating upholstery. Renault Lodgy Engine
The Renault Lodgy is powered by one diesel engine in two states of tune. In one state of tune, it generates 84 hp of power at 3,750 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 1,900 rpm. The higher state of tune has 109 hp of power at 4,000 rpm and 245 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. Both engines have been tuned for the best balance between performance and fuel efficiency.

Renault Lodgy Transmission
The Renault Lodgy’s engine is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission forthe lower tuning of the engine. The higher state of tune of the same diesel engine is paired to a 6 speed manual gearbox. There is no option of an automatic transmission, however, gear changes are satisfactory and the ratios have been slotted for minimal gear changes in day to day driving.

Renault Lodgy Braking and Safety
Although all variants of the Renault Lodgy come with an engine immobiliser and ABS (Anti lock Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), the higher versions also have dual front airbags. The top end trim also comes with reverse parking assist with rear defogger as well as rear wiper and washer.

For the lower state of tune, the Renault Lodgy has a claimed fuel efficiency of 21.04 kmpl and the higher state of tune delivers 19.98 kmpl. These figures are acceptable for an MPV of its segment.
