BMW Z4

The BMW Z4 represents the true sporting spirit with pure aesthetic value. It is a roadster which comes with the beautiful hard top. The iconic kidney grille with metal represents German functionality and flawless engineering. It comes with 18 inch alloys which looks gorgeous. The lines all over the body are very well balanced and are in proportion to the muscle distribution which makes it one of the best looking BMW on sale. The Interiors of the BMW Z4 feels like a work of art with the use of top notch quality plastics and metal inserts all throughout the cabin. It comes with automatic 2-zone air conditioning, lumbar support for both driver and the passenger, electronically adjustable seats with memory function for the driver, sport seats and a multifunction Sport leather steering wheel. The optional DPT package adds Alcantara/Leather interior upholstery with the headliner in anthracite. The interior trim is also offered in metal weave finish with Valencia orange as the body colour.

The BMW Z4 has two engine options on offer. The Z4 sDrive20i is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 194 bhp of maximum power and 320 Nm of peak torque. The Z4 accelerates from 0 -100 kmph in 6.6 seconds. On the other hand, the more powerful Z4 M40i gets power from a 3.0-litre petrol engine that is good for shedding out 335 bhp of power and 500 Nm of torque. The M40i can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds. The engine feels refined even at lower revs however it has been tuned for performance and hence is a high revving machine.

Both engines on the BMW Z4 are mated to an 8-speed Steptronic Sport Transmission. Like all BMWs, the Z4 Roadster also gets 50:50 weight distribution for a decent driving experience with power being sent only to the rear wheels.

In terms of safety, it comes with DSC, CBC, ABS with brake assist and airbags. It also has an electronic vehicle immobiliser and crash sensor. It also comes with side-impact protection with runflat tyres with reinforced side walls.

The BMW Z4 comes with a certified mileage of 10.37 km/l. These reasonable figures are due to the Sport automatic transmission with dual clutch which retains efficiency at lower revs and churns out performance at higher revs.
