Revolt Intellicorp is a startup founded by Micromax smartphone manufacturer co-founder Rahul Sharma. Based in Gurugram, Revolt imports electric motors and battery packs for its motorcycles from China but has developed the ECU and battery management system in-house.

Revolt RV400 comes with a portable battery that weighs 19 kg. For charging, the bike can be plugged onto a charger directly or the user can pull out the battery pack and take it their home or office to charge. It takes 4.5 hours for RV400's battery to charge from 0-100%. The RV400 comes with a 3 kW motor that draws power from a 72 V battery.

The RV400 offers three ride modes – Eco, City, and Sport. Eco mode restricts top speed at 45 km/h but delivers maximum range of 156 km (ARAI), City mode restricts the speed at 65 km/h and has a range of 80-90 km, and Sport mode allows top speed of 80 km/h and range of about 50-60 km.

The RV400 offers 4G connectivity through an embedded SIM card. Users can connect to their RV400 using a smartphone app. The bike can be started remotely, even through voice command. Revolt has equipped the RV400 with multiple exhaust sounds – Revolt, Rebel, Roar, and Race.

It gets upside down forks up front and a monoshock at the rear, and has 240 mm single disc brakes at both ends. Lighting is all LED, including head, tail lamp, and turn indicators. Instrument cluster is a very informative fully digital unit.

Revolt has said that it will be setting up swappable battery stations in select cities. Besides this, customers can also order a battery at their desired location. Revolt RV400 comes with unlimited warranty on the battery, free service for three years (including consumables like brake pads), and free tyre replacement once in three years (with the RV400 premium variant). Revolt RV400 is available in two version – base and premium. Monthly payment for base RV400 is Rs 3499 and Rs 3999 for the premium version. The payment will last for 37 months. Similarly, the RV300 is available at Rs 2999 per month. There are no other charges to be made during purchase and there is down payment required either. The RV300 comes with a 1.5 kW motor powered by a 60 V lithium ion battery delivering a range between 80-150 km. Top speed in Eco is 25 km/h, Normal – 45 km/h, and Sport – 65 km/h.
