Ola, just days after launching the new Gen 3 S1 Pro scooter range, has hiked prices. The third generation Ola S1 Pro was launched at Rs 1.15 lakh for the 3kWh variant, and the 4kWh version cost Rs 1.35 lakh, ex-showroom. Now, with the price hike, the scooters have gone up by Rs 15,000, depending on the model. Here are more price details.
Ola S1 Pro Gen 3 prices — Old vs new
The Ola S1 Pro Gen 3 was launched at an introductory price of Rs 1.15 lakh. Not even 10 days since launch, the S1 Pro Gen 3 with the 3kWh battery pack has seen a price hike of Rs 15,000, costing Rs 1.30 lakh now, while the S1 Pro Gen 3 with the 4kWh battery pack has seen an increase of Rs 10,000, costing Rs 1.45 lakh, ex-showroom.
The third-generation Ola scooters saw an update to their platform, battery pack, and motors, while the final drive has been updated to chains from the older belts. The overall updates have made the scooters more efficient.
With the third-generation scooters, Ola claims an IDC range of 176km with the S1 Pro 3kWh variant and an IDC range of 242km with the 4kWh version. The new Ola S1 Pro scooters are available in five colour options: Porcelain White, Industrial Silver, Stellar Blue, Jet Black, and Midnight Blue.
