February has seen a series of price cuts on electric vehicles from companies like Tata Motors and MG Motor. The latest to join the party is Ola Electric, which has announced it has reduced the prices of its electric scooters by up to Rs 25,000. The discounts are valid till the end of this month.

Bhavish Aggarwal, Ola Electric’s Chief Executive Officer, took to social media to announce that the company has slashed the prices of all three electric scooters in its portfolio. The new reduced prices of Ola S1X+, S1 Air and S1 Pro are valid till the end of February.Â

Ola Electric Clocks Best Ever Monthly Sales
The electric two-wheeler segment in India witnessed 26 per cent year-on-year growth in January 2024. In January 2024, the total sales of EV two-wheelers were 81,343 units compared to 64,692 vehicles in January 2023. Ola Electric continues to be the undisputed leader, registering a record monthly sale of 32,160 units in January 2024. Ola Electric broke the 30,000 unit figure in December 2023 and now in January 2024, it comfortably broke its record. The runner-up position went to TVS Motor, which sold 15,181 scooters under its iQube brand. Bajaj Auto held on to the third position beating Ather Energy for the fourth month in a row. Bajaj sold 10,742 vehicles while Ather Energy sold 9,209 units in January 2024.
