Jitendra EV launches Primo e-scooter at Rs 79,999; showcases transparent model too

The company says though the model is currently available in a single variant, but the Primo lineup will be expanded in the future with the Primo S (90km range) and Primo Plus (130km range) in the upcoming year.

Nashik-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Jitendra EV has launched its new e-scooter offering Primo at Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom). Interestingly, it also showcased what it claims is the first-of-its-kind transparent model of the Primo, which depending on market response will be launched at a later date.

The Primo e-scooter comes with a 60V, 26Ah battery back that comes with a claimed range of 65km. It can attain a top speed of 52kmph, is equipped with telescopic forks, hydraulic forks with a spring coil, and has a 7-degree gradient ability. In terms of colours the Primo e-scooter can be head in Black, Silver, Red, and White.

The e-scooter gets three riding modes – economy, high-speed, and boost, a digital instrument console, LED lamps, USB charging, side-stand indicator, thermal propagation alert, and reverse assist. It is equipped with 90/90 10-inch tubeless tyres and a front disc brake in the front and rear drum brake setup.

The Primo e-scooter comes with a three-year vehicle warranty. The company says though the model is currently available in a single variant, but the Primo lineup will be expanded in the future with the Primo S (90km range) and Primo Plus (130km range) in the upcoming year.
