Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Starting from Rs 5.84 lakh
Hyundai offers standard six airbags across its portfolio and in all the variants. The most affordable car which is equipped with six airbags is the Grand i10 Nios Era trim. Apart from this, all the seats come with 3-point seat belts. The higher variants also get tyre pressure monitor, ISCOFIX anchorages and rear parking camera. The Grand i10 Nios is powered by a 1.2-litre engine with an output of 82bhp and 113.8 Nm. It is mated to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT.

Hyundai Exter: Starting from Rs 6 lakh
The new micro SUV is a feature-laden vehicle and like other Hyundai vehicles is comes standard with six airbags across its variants. The most affordable Exter EX variant also comes with parking sensors, inside handle override (Driver side only) and impact sensing auto door. The Exter is only available in one single option which is the same as the Grand i10 Nios.

Hyundai Aura: Starting from Rs 6.44 lakh
The Aura is one of the most affordable sedans in the market and offers a lot of practical sense regarding passenger space, features and boot capacity. The entry-level Aura E gets six airbags as a standard feature. Along with this, it comes with ABS with EBD, immobiliser and seat belt reminders. The top trims get electronic stability control and hill start assist control. The sedan has identical power output and engine as the Grand i10 Nios and the Exter.

Hyundai i20: Starting from Rs 7 lakh
Hyundai launched the i20 facelift last month starting from Rs 7 lakh. The 2023 i20’s most affordable variant, the Era, comes packed with six airbags, an anti-lock braking system with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist control, parking sensors and a lot more. The same tried-and also powers the i20 tested 1.2-litre petrol but has a superior 114.7 Nm of torque. It offers a 5-speed manual transmission or the clutch-less IVT.

Hyundai Venue: Starting from Rs 7.89 lakh
The Venue is one of the top 10 best-selling vehicles in the country. The Venue E, the entry-level variant, has six airbags, vehicle stability management, ABS with EBD, Hill assist control, ISOFIX seats etc. Under Rs 10 lakh, the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated trims are available while the 1-litre turbo starts from Rs 10.40 lakh and the 1.5-litre diesel range is from Rs 10.59 lakh onwards.

Tata Nexon: Starting from Rs 8.10 lakh
Tata Motors recently launched the 2023 Nexon, starting with an introductory price of Rs 8.10 lakh. Apart from standard six airbags, the Nexon Smart gets ISOFIX seats, central locking and hill hold control. Like the Venue, the Tata compact SUV is available in multiple engine options like petrol and diesel, but it’s the former’s variants that come under the Rs 10 lakh bracket. The petrol manual starts from Rs 8.10 lakh to Rs 13.50 lakh, the petrol AMT from Rs 11.70 lakh to Rs 13 lakh and the new petrol dual-clutch auto is from Rs 12.20 lakh to Rs 14.70 lakh. The diesel, on the other hand, is from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 15.50 lakh, including both the manual and AMT trims.
