After luxury carmakers like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi, mass market carmakers like Maruti and Mahindra have also announced their respective annual price hikes. Maruti Suzuki has announced a 4 percent increase in prices whereas Mahindra will be increasing prices of its models by up to 3 percent.
Now, Tata Motors has announced a price hike of up to 3 percent across its PV lineup including electric vehicles (EVs). Like the carmakers mentioned above, the reason cited by Tata Motors for the latest price hike is to partially offset the rise in input costs and inflation.
