Tata Motors recently took the wraps off the new Harrier EV, while announcing its price — Rs 21.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The new Tata Harrier EV will be available in three variants – Adventure, Fearless and Empowered – however, the pricing for all the variants has not been revealed.
So, for those thinking of the base variant of the new Tata Harrier EV, here are the features and safety tech you will be getting. Here are the features of the base variant of the all-electric Tata Harrier.
Tata Harrier EV base variant features
The entry-level variant of the Tata Harrier EV will get a 10.25-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and navigation, while it also gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, which can display the navigation on it. The Harrier EV Adventure version will get a four-speaker audio system and feature wireless charging, steering-mounted controls, cruise control, USB Type-C charging ports and more.
Convenience features on the Harrier EV will include automatic climate control, keyless entry, power-adjustable ORVMs, follow-me-home headlamps, leather upholstery, and day/night IRVM amongst others.
On the safety front, the Harrier EV base model will get six airbags as standard, a reversing camera, parking sensors, an electronic park brake, Electronic stability control, traction control, disc brakes for all wheels, a tyre pressure monitoring system and hill-start assist amongst others.
Tata Harrier EV base variant battery specifications
While Tata Motors has announced that the Harrier EV will be powered by a 75kWh battery pack that offers a range of over 500km in real-world conditions, the entry-level Harrier EV could get a smaller 65kWh battery pack. The battery pack will drive a single electric motor powering the rear wheels.
The higher-spec variants will get dual motors, making it an AWD electric SUV, which will be powered by a 75kWh battery pack that has a claimed range of 622km. The range-topping AWD variant can be charged from 20–80% in 25 minutes using a 120kW DC fast charger, while there are no details yet about the entry-level Tata Harrier EV.
