Skoda is accelerating into the festive season with the unveiling of the Slavia Sportline. The Czech automobile manufacturer has yet to announce the price, but the new edition boasts a range of features. Let’s find out what’s new in the Slavia Sportline.
Skoda Slavia Sportline: Exterior Updates
Based on the details shared by Skoda, the Slavia Sportline comes with a dual-tone paint scheme and a blue and black roof including a single-panel sunroof. The hexagonal wide front grille is blacked out along with 16-inch alloy wheels, a dark chrome finish door, black window sills, the rear bumper and the rear diffuser. To add more character, the name badges, rear LED lamps, rear spoiler and outside rearview mirror are all in black finish. The Slavia Sportline comes with additional panels like front and side skirts.
Skoda Slavia Sportline: Features
The Slavia Sportline gets a new black and grey fabric upholstery, a 10-inch infotainment system with a navigation system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and Skoda Play apps. It also comes with an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a sub-woofer, ambient lighting including footwell illumination and a wireless phone charger. The Slavia continues to be the first sedan in its segment to offer electrically adjustable seats for both the driver and the front passenger.
It continues to offer multiple storage spaces like a driver’s storage compartment, armrest storage, cool glove box, bottle holders on front and rear doors and cup holders for the armrest in the rear. The Slavia has a boot space of 521 litres, the largest in the segment.
Skoda Slavia Sportline: Safety
The Slavia Sportline comes standard with six airbags, Hill Hold Control, Electronic Stability Control, multi-collision brake, anti-lock braking system, electronic differential locking system, traction control system and brake disc wiping mechanism that removes excess water.
Skoda Slavia Sportline: Engines
The standard Slavia offers two engine options: a 1-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol. The 1-litre engine delivers 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque, and comes with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter. The more robust 1.5-litre engine produces 147 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, and is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
