Shraddha Kapoor has established herself as a successful and bankable leading actor in the Indian film industry with over a decade long career. The Aashiqui 2 actress also has a penchant for automobiles. She is a proud owner of luxury cars like Range Rover and Mercedes-Benz GLS and sports cars like Lamborghini Tecnica.

Now, the Stree actress has added a much more humble vehicle to her garage. Kapoor now owns a Maruti Suzuki Swift and what’s even more surprising, it isn’t even the top-spec trim. Shraddha has opted for the mid-spec VXI (O) that doesn’t get the fog lamps on the front bumper.

Maruti Swift received a generation upgrade earlier in May this year which witnessed plenty of cosmetic improvements and some mechanical upgrades. It must be noted that Shraddha Kapoor was also the owner of the previous-gen model of Swift. It is possible that the actor may have bought the car for her staff as a daily driver.

Maruti Suzuki Swift: Features & Specs

The mid-spec Maruti Swift VXi+ might miss out on certain creature comforts but it covers all the bases. The hatchback offers features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, manual air conditioning, steering mounted audio controls, power windows and keyless entry. Safety is taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and electronic stability control.

Powering the Maruti Swift is a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder, Z-series naturally aspirated petrol engine which pushes out 81 bhp and 112 Nm of peak torque. This motor is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. Maruti also offers the Swift with a factory-fitted CNG kit as an option, albeit only with the manual gearbox and in detuned state.
