Maruti Suzuki has opened the pre-bookings of the new fourth-generation Dzire, which will make its debut on November 11. The new Dzire can be booked for Rs 11,000 on the official Maruti Suzuki website or Maruti Suzuki Arena showroom. The Dzire is the highest-selling sedan in the market.

Here’s all we know so far about the all-new Dzire.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Exteriors

In a world dominated by SUVs, the Dzire stands firm and consistently remains in the top 10 best-selling vehicles list barring last month as the new one will make its debut in November. Based on the Swift, Maruti Suzuki has burnt the midnight oil to ensure that there isn’t any resemblance in design between the hatchback and the sedan. Based on the series of spy images, the new Dzire is a contemporary-looking sedan with a muscular road presence along with an air of premiumness. It sports a massive front grille like Audi with six prominent vertical slates. The all-new LED headlight cluster has the indicators merged below and the front bumper houses fog lamps. It sports dual-tone alloy wheels and the new Y-shaped LED tail lamps with a rear spoiler. To give it a premium look, the boot lid gets chrome garnishing. As of now, the leaked images have revealed two colour options — red and blue.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Interiors

Maruti Suzuki has given the Dzire dual-tone black and beige interiors, featuring a faux wooden panel accented by a sleek silver band. The top variant will boast a 9-inch floating touchscreen, central air conditioning vents with a silver finish, automatic climate control, and a newly designed three-spoke steering wheel. Like the Swift, it will have a semi-analogue instrument console complemented by a multi-information display.

In a segment first, the Dzire will also include a sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and premium leather upholstery. On the tech front, it will offer connected technology along with safety features such as six airbags, Hill-Hold Assist, ESP, a reverse parking camera, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Engine

The new Dzire will be equipped with the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder Z-series naturally aspirated petrol engine as the Swift, producing 81 bhp and 111.7 Nm of peak torque. Like the Swift, the new Dzire will offer two transmission choices: a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. Furthermore, Maruti Suzuki plans to introduce a CNG variant of the Dzire soon after its launch.
