Mahindra Thar Roxx gets new Mocha Brown interiors

After introducing the prices of the Mahindra Thar Roxx 4×4, the company has now revealed that this off-roader features new dark Mocha Brown interiors. Although the company might not acknowledge it, the all-white interior of the 4×2 Thar Roxx was a misstep. For an off-roading SUV, having such a light-colored cabin is impractical as it is prone to getting dirty quickly. Only customers of the Thar Roxx 4×4 have the choice between Mocha Brown and Ivory White for their cabin interiors.

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Booking, Waiting Period

The pre-bookings of the Thar Roxx began some time ago, but the official bookings for the Mahindra SUV begin on October 3 at 11 am. The booking amount is Rs 21,000 and the deliveries of the 4×2 Thar Roxx with the ivory interiors are expected to begin by the end of October. Bad news for customers who will opt for Mocha Brown cabin will have to patiently wait till January 2025.

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Engine Specs

The Thar Roxx 4×4 is only available in diesel and is powered by the 2.2-litre which is available in two power outputs. The 6-speed manual transmission models produce 150 bhp and 330 Nm of torque while the 6-speed automatic torque version churns out 172 bhp and 370 Nm of torque. It is available in three variants — MX5 in manual, AX5L in automatic and AX7L in both transmissions.
