Hyundai has recently launched the most successful mid-size SUV, the 2024 Creta facelift. The Korean manufacturer is known not to sit on its past laurels, therefore, it is working on the Creta N Line. Currently, only the i20 and the Venue are available in this sporty avatar. The Creta N Line is expected to make its debut at the beginning of the upcoming new financial year.
Hyundai Creta N Line: Design and Features
Based on the i20 N Line and Venue N Line, the Creta is expected to be spruced up with plenty of chrome additions, especially the front fascia. The signature red inserts will be present in the front and rear bumpers, side panels and also on the wheel arches. It will be available in the N Line blue paint scheme, Thunder Blue with Black Abyss Black. The cabin will be all black with red garnishing on the air condition vents, gear stick, centre console and door panels. The N Logo is expected to be on the upholstery, steering wheel and metal finish pedals.
Like the standard Creta turbo, which is only available in one top-of-the-line spec, the N Line trim will also retain all its features. It is expected to be equipped with front ventilated seats, electronic park brake, twin 10.25-inch infotainment system and digital driver’s console, an 8-speaker Bose music system and connected tech.
Hyundai Creta N Line: Engine and Expected Variants
Sticking to its N Line roots, the Creta sporty version will be available in only one powertrain, the 1.5-litre turbo petrol. It has an output of 158bhp and 253Nm. The standard Creta turbo trim is only available with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, but the N Line will also get the 6-speed manual gearbox, the same as the Verna. It will offer three driving modes — Normal, Eco and Sport and the automatic will get paddle shifters.
Based on the current Hyundai N Line portfolio, the Creta too is expected to be available in both monotone and dual-tone colours. According to media reports, the Creta N Line has two trims, the N8 and N10.
