We are in the last month of the year 2017 and in order to clear the stocks, multiple automakers are offering year-end car discounts to the customers in the form of exchange and cash benefits. Despite several challenges this year, companies are able to offer lucrative discounts in order to please nad make happy their respective audiences. The year 2017 has also seen multiple car launches along with some big ones like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. The year saw the arrival of some interesting cars like the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, new 2017 Hyundai Verna, Maruti Baleno RS, Tata Tigor and a lot more. Besides these, the compact SUV space also witnessed the entry of some handsome newcomers like the Tata Nexon and the 2017 Ford Ecosport facelift that further spiced up the competition. This makes for more number of options available in the Indian car market with the year-end discounts acting like a cherry on the top. However, as we are progressing towards 2018, one can see many car companies announcing price hikes with the start of next year. When we see through the eyes of a customer, many do not wish to purchase a car in December to avoid that one year old tag and hence, choose to opt for a new vehicle after a month only. When Express Drives spoke to a few dealers in Delhi NCR, we came to know that many dealerships are giving an option to the customers that offer both kind of advantages. Now, you can pick a car of your choice in month end to avail the year end benefits and get the billing done for December 2017 only. The registration of the car can be done by the dealer in the month of January 2018. However, just in case, if the RTO (Regional Transport Office) increases the road tax for 2018, the extra amount has to be paid by the customer only.
