It has already come to light that Bajaj Auto is gearing up to launch the updated Pulsar RS 200 in the country soon. The Chakan-based bikemaker recently shared a teaser of a prospective launch of the faired sports bike that has been left untouched for almost a decade.

The company also shared a teaser film on its social media handle where a yellow-coloured Pulsar RS 200 is shown which is accompanied by a caption with a post script that says, “The waiting continues”. The video ends with the text “MemoRieS Return” with the focus on the letters ‘R’ and ‘S’.

Now, it has come to light that Bajaj will launch the updated RS 200 sometime this week. The latest social media teaser confirms that the 2025 Pulsar RS 200 will be launched on 0X-01-2025 which could be anything between 6 and 9 January 2025. The post also contains a clip partially revealing the updated Pulsar RS 200. As seen in the teaser, the design looks familiar to the existing model.

2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS 200: Updates expected

The most distinctive feature are the twin-pod LED headlights nestled inside the fully-faired front apron. Highlights like a muscular fuel tank, a floating tail section, a rear tyre hugger, split seats, and a clip on the handlebar are clearly visible in this clip. We don’t expect any major updates on the 2025 Pulsar RS 200. Bajaj may add a few additional features and colour schemes to the palette.

We expect some upgrades in the equipment of the 2025 RS 200. These include upside-down front forks, a bulkier rear tyre, and a new tail light. The Pulsar RS 200 will receive a set of comprehensive updates including an all-digital instrument cluster which will offer Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, gear position indication, distance-to-empty, real-time and average fuel economy readings.

The powertrain specs on the 2025 Pulsar RS 200 is also expected to remain unchanged. It will continue to be powered by a 199cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which pushes out 24.13 bhp at 9,750rpm and a peak torque of 18.74 Nm at 8,000rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
