The much-awaited KTM 390 Adventure range is getting closer to its launch date and thanks to a leaked brochure, we know what to expect from the new motorcycle. Apart from getting a radical design change to suit the Adventure name tag, there are a lot more interesting bits. Let’s take a closer look.

New KTM 390 Adventure X — Features and specifications

According to the leaked brochure, the 390 Adventure C will be the base variant of the Adventure range and will sport non-adjustable USD forks, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, alloy wheels, and a seat height of 825mm. The suspension gets 200mm of travel, making it ideal for mild off-roading.

The motorcycle will get an LCD instrument cluster, mostly similar to the one on the current-gen Adventure X. The motorcycle will get dual-channel ABS instead of the cornering ABS the Adventure R gets, and skips out on traction control as well. In terms of electronics, the motorcycle is simple.

Power will be derived from a familiar engine — the 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled unit that powers the 390 Duke. The engine makes 45.3bhp and 39Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox. While there is no pricing details, expect the new KTM 390 Adventure X to command a slight premium over the current model on sale.
