Royal Enfield has been creating a lot of news lately, especially with the launch of the new Guerrilla 450, a street-focused motorcycle based on the Sherpa platform. The motorcycle cuts down on premium components, especially the Showa USD forks to keep costs in check and suit its purpose while using the same 450cc liquid-cooled 40bhp engine.
Although the company has seen new products, such as the Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650, new Himalayan, and even the Hunter, the company’s best-sellers are still the 350cc motorcycles, such as the Classic, Bullet 350, and the Meteor 350.
Best-selling Royal Enfield models in June 2024
Coming back to sales, Royal Enfield has seen a decline in sales with some notable models such as the Classic 350 and the Hunter 350, the latter of which was aimed at welcoming new riders to the RE family. That said, for Royal Enfield, the Classic 350 is still the best-seller, having registered sales of 24,803 units in June 2024 but with a YoY sales decline of 8 percent.
Following the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the Hunter 350 in second, having sold 15,609 units and also witnessing a YoY sales decline of 3 percent. The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and the Meteor 350 take up the third and fourth places, having sold 9,610 units and 8,085 units respectively, both registering a positive YoY growth in June 2024.
Royal Enfield’s first all-new product in a long time, the Himalayan, comes in fifth, having registered sales of 3,062 units last month, registering a negative YoY sales growth of 6 percent. With the launch of the Guerrilla 450, Royal Enfield is looking at targetting sales of the Triumph Speed 400, which is a popular choice in the segment.
